About THE GOODEN - CHIN FAMILY
My generation began when my father Oswald Cuthbert Gooden met my mother Edna Voila Chin in the 1940's and got married. The union produced seven children namely Owen C. Gooden, Lloyd G. Gooden, Keith A. Gooden, Neville A. Gooden, Claudette V. Gooden, Beverley V. Gooden and Kenneth F. Gooden.
We all came from humble beginnings and grew up on the beautiful tropical island of Jamaica, West
Indies in the Caribbean Sea. Our loving parents provided everything for us the best they knew how.
Our father made his living as a police officer in the Jamaica Constabulary Force. Our mother was a
home maker and was the driving force behind the family. She was the clock that made our family tick. Our history of this UNION shows the passing of four family members, our beloved mother Edna V. Gooden, our dear brother Neville A. Gooden, our beloved father Oswald C. Gooden and our dear brother Owen C. Gooden. To the aforementioned and all other beloved family members who have passed on we miss them dearly. This family tree project has been a great experience thus far. Already I have entered names of family members that I know and some that I did not know. I expect the family tree will continue to grow and yield new information regarding our family. If you meet a family member in your travels, please secure their phone number or an email address from them so we can link up and get them on the family tree. Please take the time to continue updating your information. Kindly enter the email addresses of your off springs so I may send them an invitation to enter their family information.
Upload as many photographs as you can. When you reach your limit to upload and you have other photographs you want to share, please forward them to me and I will post them in the family album for everyone to enjoy.
If anyone knows of a Website with good resourceful information, you may send me a copy of the URL and I will add it to our "Useful Links" feature on the WELCOME PAGE. Example: topics on HEALTH, MONEY, MARRIAGE, SPORTS, TRAVEL etc.
PLEASE SPARE A MINUTE TO SIGN OUR GUEST BOOK. LET US KNOW YOU WERE HERE & WHAT YOU THINK OF THE FAMILY TREE. ALL COMMENTS & SUGGESTIONS ON HOW WE CAN IMPROVE AND EXPAND THE FAMILY TREE ARE WELCOME.
THANKS.
